For Vocations
Loving God, your love is made manifest in your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Your love shines in the body of Christ, for Church.
Make us eager to serve one another in the Church.
Through the gift of the Holy Spirit, lead us into the ministry of word and sacrament, through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Prayer of St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
Divine master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.
Sending Eucharistic Ministers
Good and gracious God, look with loving kindness on our brothers and sisters who now carry the sacred Body of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, to those who cannot be with us this day.
Strengthen all your people by this sacrament.
In your Holy Spirit, unite us in one communion of love.
Bring us at last to the banquet of heaven, where we will sing your praise for ever and ever.
Amen.
For Those To Be Baptized
Lord God, heavenly Father, your holy Church is great with child.
In mystery she will give birth in the Easter waters of baptism.
Look with love and affection on your children soon to be born.
Keep them in safety and health, each day growing in wisdom, each day stronger in your Holy Spirit.
Protect also your Church.
Calm her anxiety, and, when her time is fulfilled, grant her a season of bliss.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Communion Meditation
Anima Christi
Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds, hide me.
Separated from you, let me never be.
From the evil one, protect me.
At the hour of my death, call me.
And close to you, bid me, that with all your saints I may ever be for ever and ever.

Prayer for Religious Vocations
Lord Jesus Christ, Shepherd of souls, raise up men and women to serve your holy Church as sisters, brothers, deacons and priests.
In this new millennium open our minds and hearts to your Divine call, to a new flowering of religious vocations, and to a spread of the Gospel.
Grant us the generosity to support and nurture your holy will, and the courage to follow you who are the Way, the Truth, and the Life, now and for ever.
Amen.
Pope John Paul II
Father, in your wise and loving care you made your servant, John Paul II, Pope and teacher of all your Church.
He did the work of Christ on earth. May your Son now welcome him to eternal glory, where he lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
